Rationale:

Project Objective:
The goal of this project was to provide relevant and important bus information that will improve the lives and well-being of our community.

The target audience will be young adults like students and workers who depend on bus transportation daily. It is mainly these two groups that use public transportation because affording a car with all its expenses can be a lot for a high schooler or postsecondary student.

I researched public bus issues to understand the daily challenges faced by riders. Then, I sketched ideas for a website to educate users and a mobile app to improve on existing bus apps. Using Figma, I brought these concepts to life, refining and testing them along the way.

I was able to design and create a working prototype for both the website and mobile app. I wanted to spread even more awareness, so I designed posters that could be placed at bus stops so that when people come across them, they can scan the QR code, and it will take them straight to the mobile app where they can experience a better busing app to use.
